My wife and I got married (ceremony and reception) at OMI last August. The service, expertise, and overall experience were spot on. We had the opportunity to work with Amanda V. and she was nothing but exceptional. She worked with us the entire time and really cared about making sure our vision came to fruition. I highly recommend omi not just for the elegance of the venue, but for the professionalism of the staff. Definitely take a tour of the venue and see if omi meets your style and your needs!

Thanks much for making sure our special day was magical. Your attention to detail made everything go smoothly, all all of our guests said it was the best wedding ever! Truly appreciate all of your hard work and effort.

From the very first moment we met with a consultant to discuss having our wedding at the Grain House, we were impressed. Marien Barker met with us and we were so won over by her enthusiasm and personality that we signed our contract on the spot! The entire wedding planning process was smooth and organized. Our maitre d', John Lietz, was amazing! He listened to all of our ideas and executed everything perfectly.
The wedding day was everything we hoped for. Even though it rained and we were not able to have the ceremony outside, they did a great job setting up inside and decorated the space beautifully. John checked in with us so often just to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing and the staff/service was impeccable. The attention to small details was impressive and I did not have to worry about a thing during the wedding. Every item that we provided (decorations, pictures, etc) was packaged and waiting for us in our bridal suite (along with champagne!) by the end of the night.
Our guests were all impressed by the accommodations at the Olde Mill Inn and our stay was very enjoyable. Overall, I could not have asked for a better venue for the most special day of my life!

We had a wonderful experience with the Olde Mill Inn, the location, the food, and staff were exceptional. Our Maitre De was knowledgeable, helpful with organizing, and had a touch with decorating. Our wedding was everything and more than we expected.

I can't speak highly enough about the Olde Mill Inn. Everything from the venue space to the food to the help was awesome. I had my wedding in late September at the Grain House which is the smaller of the two locations available on the premises and it was seriously perfect. I really didn't have any problems or concerns and Amanda who was our day of maitre d was absolutely wonderful. She took care of everything with flawless execution and made it so that I didn't have to worry about a single thing. She made great suggestions for how we could maximize the space and was so accommodating with all of my requests. There was nothing that she couldn't make work. I can't say enough how happy I was with picking the Olde Mill Inn for our wedding. All of our guests were raving about the food and how cute their hotel rooms were. This is a great place to get married and highly recommend getting married here if you are looking for a charming and semi-rustic location with amazing food and top notch services.

The Olde Mill Inn was INCREDIBLE!! My husband and I were so utterly thankful & happy with the Olde Mill Inn!! Lindsey S. was so sweet and helpful as well as John L.! Once it was getting towards crunch time John took over and was FANTASTIC! He was so patient and beyond helpful! Any last minute issues he handled immediately. We had picked a signature drink and shortly after cocktail hour started they ran out of the main liquor that was in it and John informed us and said "don't worry and we will get more" and he did! (fast too) And during the cocktail hour he not only made sure my husband and I were ok but also my mother - he brought her a plate of hors d'ourves. He would advise us about whats going on - anything we should know, esp any changes. He took care of EVERYTHING! The wait staff and the hospitality men & women were so kind and helpful too! My husband and I highly recommend the Olde Mill Inn not only for weddings but for any event or function! Thank you John, Lindsey and the Olde Mill Inn team!!

There are not enough words to describe the wonderful our experience at the Olde Mill Inn. They made my dream wedding perfect. John Lietz and his staff met all our expectations past what we were expecting. My wedding was held at the Grain House. We were supposed to be having the ceremony at the gazebo but mother nature would not allow it and it was raining. They moved us to the tented area for the ceremony and it was beautiful beyond my dreamsWe have been married a month and I am still getting compliments on how beautiful the wedding was and what a terrific time everyone had. Food was wonderful and delicious. If you are thinking of getting married. This should be your first choice. You will not be disappointed.

The PERFECT day! I cannot say enough good things about the Olde Mill Inn and especially our maitre'd, Marien. I have been imagining my wedding day for so many years and had held such high expectations for what I had hoped my day would be like. Marien and the Olde Mill Inn exceeded my expectations on my wedding day! Everything was absolutely perfect and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Throughout the entire day and night Marien made sure my family and I had everything we needed. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy every moment of our special day. The food was absolutely delicious!! All of my family and friends continue to talk about how amazing the cocktail hour was! Marien did a wonderful job decorating the venue to add all my personal touches in an elegant way. Marien is so enthusiastic, organized, and such a professional person! She truly cares for each and every bride she works with! I am a very detail orientated, type A person, who has a difficult time giving up the control. However, I completely trusted Marien and her team and I turned over all my trust her, which eliminated any extra stress. This allowed me to just enjoy every aspect of the wedding day. She took charge and made sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you Marien for making my wedding dreams come true!! This is a day my husband and I will remember forever!!...

I got married here on October 24, 2014 and couldnt have picked a better place. Everything was great from my Outdoor ceremony, to cocktail hour and Reception. Everyone loved the food and the decor. Lindsay Stewart, whom we booked our wedding with was a sweetheart. Always responsive to ALL my many questions throughout the year of planning. Our Maitre 'd, John Lietz made everything go smoothly on our day, something I was so worried about. He was on point and I didnt think about a thing all night ! Plus he was a fun guy !

We knew from the moment we visited the Olde Mill Inn that it was the perfect place for our wedding. And everywhere we went we heard great things about the omi. And now, we can't stop hearing friends and family tell us how marvelous everything was. Lindsay Stewart was incredible. She was there for us from our first visit through our wedding day. She was wonderful and willing to do anything to make our day perfect. Lindsay and her staff were also willing to go above and beyond to do anything for our guests, which meant so much to us. Every idea I had...Lindsay always had a better one. I can't say enough how much we loved everything at the Olde Mill Inn from the rehearsal dinner at the Grain House to the outdoor ceremony to the food to the service...it was all top notch.

THANK YOU AMANDA VIRGA, CATHERINE COTTER, CHUCK RUSSO, and JIM BONKOSKY for helping me coordinate the PERFECT Winter Wonderland Wedding! I had a distinct vision for how I wanted the Hunt room to look…rather than it being a typical wedding reception space, I wanted to transform it into a magical winter forest. My florist, Catherine, from Somerset Hills, did a BEAUTIFUL job creating dramatic centerpieces of white birch branches with crystals, surrounded by white hydrangeas and candles on top of a mirror to maximize the sparkle. I worked closely with my DJ Chuck Russo and Jim from JB Lighting Production, (917) 834-1902, to create the optimum lighting for the space. Jim kept all of the bright overhead lights off and used uplighting to bathe the room in a cool blue wintery light. This look greatly enhanced the atmosphere…attention, future brides: uplighting is worth the cost! Jim also projected snowflakes onto the dance floor and our name onto the wall across from the DJ booth. Chuck Russo is the BEST DJ EVER! My wedding was the ultimate dance party thanks to him! And I couldn't have asked for a more amazing maître d'--Amanda Virga was so helpful, accommodating, communicative, responsible, organized, and sweet! Before the wedding, she was constantly in touch with me making sure all of my questions were answered and that everything was set for my big day. She made sure the slideshow worked in advance so that it ran smoothly during cocktail hour the day of. She allowed us to drop all of our hotel favors, wedding favors, photographs, cake topper, etc. off the week before so that we weren't as stressed in the last few days leading up to the wedding. She made sure I was happy with the signature drink and did a WONDERFUL job displaying all of the flowers from the church on the Christmas trees on either side of our sweetheart table! She even helped bustle my dress! During cocktail hour my husband and I were taking pictures outside and she made sure a variety of hors d'oeuvres was waiting for us in the bridal suite! The entire wedding flowed so smoothly thanks to Amanda! I was pampered throughout the entire experience -- she thought of everything and truly made me feel like a queen on my special day! Request Amanda Virga at the Grain House to oversee your wedding!!! I LOVE the Olde Mill Inn-- it really is the BEST place to have a wedding!

My wedding reception was perfect using the Fox and Hounds room in the Grain House. Beginning with a small, intimate cocktail hour in the Grain Room and moving to the Fox and Hounds, I couldn't have been more pleased. Our maitre' d, Amanda, was flawless. She was a pleasure to work with and quick with email replies to any questions we had. Every request I had, she handled exactly as I had asked. The venue is beautiful, the food - DELICIOUS - the tasting you get ahead of time was wonderful. We were treated like a king and queen. The Olde Mill Inn not only met my expectations, but exceeded them!

I know the 18th century was an important era for the Grain House, but 9/26/14 was a really big day for us. Both raised in Jersey's countryside, we were not just looking for a ballroom wedding venue, but rather a special spot that reflected who we were and where we came from. The Grain House was just that .. a rustic setting in the midst of upbeat Morris County with all of the amenities that we could have hoped for. From the tastefully decorated Gazebo, where our reception was held, to the outdoor dance floor held underneath a grand white tent that reminded us oh so much of our summer days spent together, the Grain House showcased us and our wedding in all the right ways. As for the essentials, the food was incredible and the staff were a pleasure to work with. We'd like to make a special shout-out to our maitre d', Amanda, who was cool as a swimming pool, and Lindsay, director of all things awesome. Amanda was perfect at being the calm, confident and caring maitre d' that every couple deserves to have at their wedding. Lindsay was there for us from the start, and made sure that our special day was just that .. special. Hearing from so many of our guests that our wedding took the gold in every category upheld that we rightfully chose our special spot.

We just wanted to thank you again for all your help planning our wedding. From when I arrived on Thursday night, you made me feel so calm, relaxed and stress free. The Olde Mill Inn was so accommodating to all of our needs and made the day go super smooth. The hotel was beautiful and all of our guests had nothing but great things to say! Kevin and I couldn't have asked for a more magical wedding. Last night was truly a dream come true. Most people warned us that weddings never go smoothly and there's bound to be problems, but I have to say, yesterday was absolutely perfect. The food was stellar, the ambiance was exactly what I imagined, and the room was decorated beautifully. We really couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you for making our wedding a wonderful and memorable event. We hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Incredible Service! My husband and I had our wedding at the Olde Mill Inn on November 15, 2014 in the Washington Ballroom. Our ceremony took place off-site but we spent the night before our wedding the the Olde Mill and each got ready there with our bridal parties.
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Marien throughout the entire process of booking and planning our wedding. Marien also served as the Maitre D' on our wedding day. Marien went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process and most especially on our wedding day. She handled every detail, anticipated our needs, took care of all of families and friends so we could enjoy every moment of our day. While we were at our ceremony, Marien personally set up every detail of our wedding from the place cards to the family photos. Every single detail was meticulously put together and reflected everything we had discussed during the planning process. To say she is fantastic would be an understatement.
We have received countless compliments on the Olde Mill Inn, most of them from guests telling us our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been too. We have received rave reviews about the beauty of the hotel (enough accommodations for all of our overnight guests), the incredible service received by every staff member at the Olde Mill and most especially the FOOD. Guests were raving all night about the cocktail hour (the most incredible spread I have personally seen at a wedding) and the dinner and have not stopped commenting on how delicious everything was.
The Olde Mill Inn is truly a special place. My husband and I knew from the minute we toured the Olde Mill that we had to have our wedding there and it did not disappoint. Marien and every staff member who worked our wedding cared only about one thing: making sure it was the best night of our lives. And it was!! We are so grateful and so proud to have had our wedding at the Olde Mill Inn. They made our dreams come true

After attending numerous weddings over the last few years, my now husband and I knew exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. When we visited the Olde Mill Inn, the warm, cozy, intimate feel of the ballroom was coupled with the convenience of the hotel rooms upstairs from the event space. Add to that a winter discounted price and the most lovely Christmas decor and we were sold! At the omi, you are assigned a maitre d' to work with on all details leading up to your wedding. In working with Amanda, quite simply, she was the best. Her level of responsiveness leading up to the event was extraordinary (often replying within minutes!) and her upbeat personality made even the most tedious of tasks more pleasant. She made sure that our every need was attended to, often anticipating them before we even knew of them. Her expertise in all things wedding related was evident and the day could not have been nearly as smooth without her being there! While nothing makes cutting the checks to vendors any less painful, I can confidently say that the Olde Mill Inn was worth EVERY penny.

Fabulous Wedding I just recently had my wedding at the Olde Mill Inn on January 10. From our first meeting with Lindsey, my fiance and I knew this was going to be our venue. She took so much time explaining all of our options and once we booked the venue, she was a huge help answering all of my emails and phone calls right away!
We had our rehearsal dinner at the Grain House on the Olde Mill Inn's property in a very cute, lodge-like room, which suited our style perfectly! The room was intimate, separate from the restaurant tables, with a roaring fire. This was the perfect location since many of our bridal party were staying at the hotel that night.
Our Maitre D', John, went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up the way we wanted, from the morning of, delivering lunch to the groomsmen, to taking notes on how I wanted things decorated, to organizing a table of appetizers and drinks for the bridal party before cocktail hour to ensure we had the opportunity to eat! He also spent all of cocktail hour bringing us plates of hot food from cocktail hour so that we wouldn't miss out! He was constantly checking in with me to make sure things were going the way I wanted, and I truly appreciated all the time he spent making our wedding successful.
Food at the wedding was great-- especially the short ribs. Put those on your menu if you book your wedding here. We went to a tasting over the summer and had the ability to cater our menu to the things we liked and didn't like based on the tasting. They had no problem with me changing out some appetizers on the menu for others. Our guests were impressed with how great the food was and also about the selection of beer/wine/liquor available.
After our wedding we headed over to the Grain House yet again to continue the party at the bar. They set up a tab for us and ensured only wedding guests would be able to add to the tab. This was so much fun, especially since it is right there on the same property as the hotel and guests didn't have to go out of their way or drive anywhere to join in!
A big plus about our wedding weekend: having the rehearsal dinner, reception, after party, and brunch the next day all on the same property made our out of town guests VERY happy. Some even commented that it felt like a mini vacation! We were also happy with this as we got to spend a lot of time with our guests beyond the reception. Continental breakfast is free for all guests, we loved having this available for our family and friends.
A note on having a winter wedding: we chose the winter package for the discounted price, but it came with so many amazing perks-- free night in the honeymoon suite, winter dessert station (apple crisp + hot chocolate, our guests LOVED this), and more.
The staff at the Olde Mill Inn runs a seamless wedding. Lindsey and John made me feel like their number one priority at all times. I could not have been happier with our day!

Winter Wedding Bliss, My wedding reception was held at the Grain House. From the time we booked the venue, the staff was amazing! We first dealt with Lindsey and she answered all questions I had promptly. Then, Amanda took over the booking and I can't say how helpful and amazing she was!! John & Sophia would like to let you know that our experience with the personnel and venue at the Olde Mill Inn & Grain House was truly exceptional. We had a limited time to plan our wedding, and every expectation we had was 100% exceeded. Amanda Virga did a tremendous job of managing every aspect of the wedding, and made us feel very comfortable that we had no reason to worry about the finer details for our big day--she took care of EVERYTHING. The venue was stunning, the food was delicious, and the service was second-to-none. I recommend both Amanda and Marien to anyone looking to have the wedding of a lifetime. A beautiful Christmas wedding started as a figment of our imaginations and became an incredible reality because of the great work Amanda and Marien did for us. From customizing the menu, to collaborating on the decorating details, we simply couldn't have asked for more.

The Olde Mill Inn gave me the best wedding I could have ever asked for - truly a dream come true. Being a controlling person, I was so concerned that I was going to spend my wedding day being stressed out. The best part was that I didn't have to because they made everything so easy for me! Looking at other people's weddings, what I love is their attention to detail. We feel so lucky with how much love and care they put into our wedding, and it made paying the bill very easy!

My husband and I were married at The Olde Mill Inn-Grain House on February 8, 2014. As soon as we viewed the venue we fell in love. The layout and décor of the Grain House was exactly what we wanted. We first met with Lindsay and she was very knowledgeable and was always able to answer all of our questions mainly through email. She gave us a thorough tour of the venue and a detailed estimate of how much the wedding would cost. We ended up booking this venue a couple days later because we knew it was the one. Our maître d was Amanda and she took care of all the details of our wedding. She always followed up with us and cared about how our wedding planning was coming along. When we first met with her in person, she was very welcoming and was excited to help us plan our wedding. We went over every detail with her and she always answered our emails very quickly. The day of our wedding went smoothly because Amanda took care of the timeline and made sure our guests knew where to go at specific times. She always asked how we were doing that night to make sure it was the best day of our lives. The service staff was excellent and very friendly with our guests. The food was spectacular and we couldn’t believe how much food was at the cocktail hour! I recommend the sangria, which was our signature drink, all of the guests said it was delicious. The Olde Mill Inn-Grain House was the best choice we could have made for our wedding venue. All of our guests said that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to. My mother in law is still raving about what a great time she had and said it could not have been any better!

Thank you so very much for all you did to make our wedding day so memorable and special. We never could have asked for someone more professional or knowledgeable to handle all the details of the most important day of our lives. You were the reason why a day that could have been so stressful instead felt effortless. We will forever be indebted to you for your incredible work to make our day magical.

My husband and I had such a great experience working with the Olde Mill Inn for our winter wedding day! We dealt with Lindsay Stewart in the beginning and she was always kind and helpful and responded to our questions thoroughly and quickly. Our maitre'd was Amanda and she was just awesome. She made sure she understood everything that we wanted and that everything was organized and perfect. I was so calm the day of our wedding as I knew she had everything handled. We had a few guests in wheelchairs and although they don't have elevators, they were so accommodating to make sure everyone got around safely. We have received so many compliments on how delicious the food was from the cocktail hour to the dinners, how nice and attentive the staff was (especially one waitress who helped my grandma and her friends who don't get around easily with everything that they needed! thank you!), and everyone loved the feel of the venue. We couldn't be happier with how our day went and we are so glad we decided to have our wedding at the Grain House. It was everything we had wanted!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about omi and Marien Barker. QUALITY OF SERVICE: Let me start off by we are getting married Nov2015 in the Washington Ballroom. Both of our families loved the historic significance of the place and the neatly kept landscape. We also love being the only event happening @ the time. RESPONSIVENESS: Marien has been a tremendous resource even before we officially signed! She is always a phone call or email away, and goes above and beyond to make sure you've got everything you need to be at ease. Because of this, omi was literally the easiest and least stressful decision of our entire wedding process! PROFESSIONALISM: We were lucky enough to view the ballroom just before an evening wedding. The staff was dressed to the nines, very courteous, attentive, and allowed us to see the space as it might look on our big day. Stunning! VALUE: Hotel rooms, cocktail hour, dinner selections, etc. are *incredible* for the price you pay (plus, it's just your event!). FLEXIBILITY: We had some issues in securing our church which caused us to delay in booking our wedding date with omi. The staff "held" the date for us for over a month (no money down!) and continued working with us to ensure the Washington Ballroom was ours. During that time, there was never any pressure from them to commit (maybe because they knew we were already sold!). In fact, they treated us like we were already part of the omi family. I cannot wait for our wedding day with them!

Perfect Venue. In a world where wedding planning seems to have become formulaic and commercialized, our experience with the Grain House broke the mold. Lindsay Stewart and Amanda Virga listened to us,helped us plan and perfectly execute the small wedding we envisioned. Some of our 47 guest described our event as "the best wedding" they have ever been to, "simple, elegant and warm," "perfect" "the food was incredible." Lindsay Stewart (our director of social sales) and Amanda Virga (our Maitre D') responded to our concerns and questions immediately via email, which took away a lot of the stress of planning. One of the many benefits of having a wedding at the Olde Mill Inn/Grain House Restaurant is that you can have a small affair (we only had to guarantee 30 guests) and still get the "A list" treatment. You can also opt for a much bigger wedding. You can make it as simple or as extravagant as you want. The options are limitless. Another really great thing is that your out of town guests will have a nice, convenient place to stay. We plan to come back every year for our anniversary. We plan to order the fried calamari, we didn't get to sample it during the cocktail hour, and we heard it was amazing!

Absolutely amazing!!! Our experience with the Olde Mill Inn was a true joy from start to finish. Our sales manager Lindsey Smillie sold us on the Olde Mill Inn from the first visit and her attentiveness didn't fade throughout the planning. She happily answered all of our questions in a timely manner and was there to assist us in any way she could. Amanda Virga was our Maitre D and she was absolutely amazing. She managed to put this stressed out and crazy bride at ease! I didn't have to worry about a thing on the wedding day because Amanda made sure everything ran smoothly. All of guests raved about how beautiful the wedding was and the food was to die for! I am so glad we got married at the Olde Mill Inn and hope someone I know gets married there so I can go back for another her wedding! The Olde Mill Inn is the whole package: beautiful venue, great food and amazing staff.

We had the pleasure of staying 2 nights at the Olde Mill Inn for our nephew's wedding. The venue is beautifully kept & immaculate. We were warmly greeted by staff at check in & although the inn is large, the lobby gives you the feeling of a more quaint victorian inn. Our room was clean, up to date, & located on the 1st floor. The center courtyard was beautifully landscaped as was the entire property. The continental breakfast offered by the inn was very nice. The food was fresh & included baked items, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal & fruit. As for the wedding, the cocktail hour was also very nice, Plenty of natural light in all serving areas along with plenty of seating. The courtyard was also a nice touch with extra tables outside during the hour. The wedding ballroom was again, very nice. The food served was tasty & our servers were great. We never felt rushed. We also had the opportunity to visit the Grain House restaurant adjacent to the inn on the property. The food was delicious & the service was top notch. Even though we were only an hour away from from home, the Olde Mill Inn made it feel like a mini vacation.

Brian and I would both like to thank you very much for everything you have done for us to make our day as special as it was. We feel you are fantastic at your job, and that you went above and beyond what was expected. We noticed how you pay attention to details, as well as always being one step ahead of things making sure all goes smoothly. Thanks for the great care you took in packing all of our items from the wedding, and making sure everything was brought back to the hotel room. We especially appreciated that you went back to our hotel room to get the rings, as well as constantly checking to see if we needed anything during our photo shoot and during the reception. All of our guests noticed what a great job you were doing at our wedding, and both Brian and I are more than happy to recommend the Olde Mill Inn to anyone looking for a place to have a wedding or special occasion. Thanks so very much again!

I can't say enough about the Olde Mill Inn. Our wedding was May 23rd and it was beyond everything I could.have dreamed of. Lindsay Smillie and Amanda Virga were amazing. Amanda was with us every step of the way and at our reception making sure everything ran smooth. The staff was great and very attentive. The food was excellent!!! We had both our ceremony and reception at the Olde Mill in and IT WAS AMAZING! From every step of the planning process to the actual wedding day, the support we got from everyone was exemplary. We booked with Lindsay Stewart who is exceptional at her job. She always responds to emails and questions right away, and always had great suggestions for us in terms of planning. John Lietz was our Maitre D, and he was unsurpassed. On the day of the wedding, he had everything covered so the whole day went smoothly from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. We didn't need a wedding planner there that day since he basically ran everything and it was perfect. He kept the timeline moving perfectly and really took any stress out of the day of for us, which was awesome!! We got so many rave reviews from all of our guests about the ceremony which ended up having to be inside due to rain but it was beautiful !!! The guests have all told us the food was delicious-- and the waitstaff were always friendly and willing to accommodate. We had a lot of guests from out of town also and the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the staff friendly and receptive. We really can't say enough about the Olde Mill Inn. If you want to have your wedding here you will not be disappointed!!!

I just wanted to say thank you to you two and all of the staff for an incredible wedding. John and I were so incredibly happy with everything and you guys really made that happen. So many brides talk about how stressful their weddings are and that they are glad to just relax after it is all over, but I had so much fun and you guys helped me to just relax during the day so that I wasn't stressed at all and was able to just take it all in and enjoy the day, my family and friends, and my new husband. I don't think that you can ask for much more than that on your wedding day. So thank you so much for everything. You guys are wonderful.
—July, 2015: Letter to John Lietz and Marien Barker from Eileen S.
The Olde Mill Inn was not the first venue we visited, but once we saw it, the only thing left was to work out the details. What looks nice at drive up becomes amazing once you are inside. It was both comfortable and elegant. They ( Lyndsey) worked with us to stay on budget and still have everything that any other venue offered and then some. The courtyard was perfect for our ceremony. The guys had the bridal suite to get ready and the girls in the bridal party had a separate room for their preparation. John (our maitre de for the occasion) kept everything in order and on time from pre ceremony to post reception. The food was fantastic and plentiful. Our guests are still talking about it, all 118 of them. We had teens and children as well as adults, and everyone liked it. We cannot thank the people of the Olde Mill Inn enough for all the time and effort put into making our special occasion (August 9) an event to remember. This was the perfect venue for us. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

We got married at the omi on 7/31/15. We had both our ceremony and reception here and I would do it all over again if I could. We had a small wedding ~45 people, but it was still the perfect wedding and had all the details of a larger sized wedding. The minute I showed my fiance the omi he loved it too. It has so much character but yet is modern in all it offers. We worked with Amanda and she was great. She did not miss any details. There were many things which I did not even think of myself that she made suggestions for. I had every confidence that everything would be perfect because she was very professional and detailed. The food was amazing. The signature drinks for the bride and groom were a sweet added touch. We had a beautiful day and we were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside and our cocktail hour under a tent that was just gorgeous. Even though we were a small wedding, we still had a full cocktail hour that had stations and passed h'orderves. It was also so nice that our guests could stay in the hotel and it was all located at the same premises. I would highly recommend the omi and Amanda to anyone, but especially if you are looking to have a small wedding but still have all the niceties of a large wedding.

Mike and I cannot thank you enough for our absolutely beautiful wedding. Every aspect of it was perfect, dow to every last detail. It truly was a dream come true, and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. We are truly so thankful for all your help and all you did for us to help make our wedding everything it was.
—August, 2015: (Letter to John Lietz)
We just got married on July 25th at the Grain House location and it could not have been more perfect! Amanda was our Maitre D' and she was awesome. She even spent extra time putting together an 80 piece puzzle that served in place of a guest sign-in book. We didn't even look at other venues. We immediately knew omi was the perfect venue for us. One of the many highlights of our wedding that people are still talking about is the food! I've eaten at the Grain House many times and have taken family members and friends there and they have all raved about the food. Our wedding was no exception.

My husband and I got married here 2 weeks ago and it was AMAZING!! First Lyndsey Smiley was our sales girls who answered all of our questions and concerns, and worked with the price a little. John Leitz was our Maitre D, he was AWESOME! He was our go to guy for everything! He was always available via email and cell leading up to the wedding and got back to us very fast. The day of, he was on top of everything and made sure our day ran perfectly! We had a large bright space for the bridal party to get ready. We had our ceremony outside in the courtyard which was gorgeous. Cocktail hour had a ton of really good appetizers being passed around and stations, full bar service, and open to the outside area. The reception was in the main ballroom, which is kind of a blank canvas, but looks BEAUTIFUL with a little up lighting and flowers! ALL of the food was EXCELLENT! We also had dessert stations and a coffee bar which was really good. The cake was included and you go to taste and design it prior. It easily fit our 145 guests. I'd say up to 200 is probably comfortable. Our reception went until midnight and we had an after party at the grain house. Very convenient to have your hotel rooms right upstairs. The bridal suite to sleep was HUGE and very nice! All of our guests had a really great time, we had no issues at all, we HIGHLY recommend the Olde Mill Inn!!!

I don't even know where to begin! The Olde Mill Inn was the first and only venue we visited and we knew immediately it was the one. We had our reception on October 3rd in the Washington Ballroom. We fell in love with the gorgeous back drop, the amazingly accommodating staff, and the convenience of hotel rooms in the same building as our reception. Lindsey Smilie helped us from day one, and made me feel entirely comfortable with every single detail. She answered every question and (numerous) email I would send her promptly and so cheerfully, and always made me feel like both myself and our wedding was a priority. The evening of our menu tasting, we met our future Maitre'd John Leitz. John was hands down the BEST, and he was entirely responsible for making our wedding the best day of our lives. He accomodated every possible request we had, went above and beyond to make sure we were calm, happy and fed the entire day/night. Even though he was managing multiple things simultaneously, he would ALWAYS be so calm, happy and easy going. His attitude made us feel so much more at ease throughout the planning process and the day of. John was AMAZING, and both he and Lindsey worked with me to make sure every detail of our wedding was perfect. The venue itself was incredible. The food was amazing, the cocktail hour was unbelievable, the entire staff was so kind and professional - and everything ran so smoothly. Our wedding was almost 2 weeks ago, and to this day we are still having guests tell us how absolutely amazing our wedding was. Everyone was blown away by the beauty of the venue, the accommodating staff, how tastefully done everything was, the incredible cocktail hour, delicious food, the amazing after party and delicious private brunch we had the morning after.Every detail was perfect. I cannot express enough how absolutely perfect our wedding day was. The Olde Mill Inn is perfect, thank you so much for making 10/3/15 the best day ever.

My new husband and I got married on November 8 of this year. We had the opportunity to work with the wonderful maitre d, Amanda. The venue was beautiful and we were lucky enough to have great weather so we had our ceremony outside. The food was delicious! Amanda was fantastic during the entire planning process. She made it so easy and was always on the other side of the phone to answer a question. When a problem popped up regarding location of our rehearsal dinner, Amanda came and fixed it all! Thanks Olde Mill Inn and Amanda! Our wedding was unforgettable and it is all because of you!

I will be having my upcoming wedding at the Olde Mill Inn. They have been extremely responsive and truly want to get to know each of their brides and grooms! They have spent many hours with me and always made sure to make time available so that I could come back with both sides of the family to see the venue! I plan to have my rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at the Olde Mill Inn in 2016.

My husband David and I would like to write to you about how wonderful John Lietz was during the planning and execution of our wedding (10/11/15). John was on top of every detail, and we could not have asked for more in a maître d'. From his friendly and enthusiastic demeanor to his calm way of getting everyone organized- we really loved working with John.  He was always managing so many things simultaneously while still remaining happy and easygoing. John's attitude was a comfort both on the day of and during the planning process.  He accommodated every possible request we had, answering emails on off hours, and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was as we envisioned. He even worked our afterparty! John is a true asset to the Olde Mill Inn, and we will be recommending him along with Olde Mill, online and to anyone who will listen!
—November, 2015: (Letter to General Manager Glen Isemann from Sue and David F.)
We had our wedding there in November and it was absolutely perfect. The staff was amazing, I wish I knew every one of their names so I could thank everyone one of them personally from the sales team (Lindsey Smillie) to our maitre d (John Lietz), not to mention the front desk staff of the hotel Allan Hachey and Maureen and the waiters and waitresses...just literally everyone made us and our guests feel extra special. When I tell you that every single person couldn't get over 1) how much food we had! 2) how good the food was! 3) the rooms and accommodations being great... it just solidified that we made the right choice with booking our once in a lifetime experience at omi. When we booked our wedding Lindsey told me that omi is now my second home and to never hesitate to reach out or to come up in person and she was absolutely right, no matter who I spoke to there I would always be greeted with a smile and answers! They put any questions or concerns I had at ease. I honestly cannot say enough nice things about omi. The conscious effort they made to make sure our day was special did not go unnoticed. My husband and I cannot wait to go back for our 1 year anniversary and celebrate all over again! Thank you, thank you, thank you omi Staff for making it a night to remember!

We had our wedding here back in Oct 2015. We couldn't be happier on how everything turned out. We had a lot of complements from our friends and family on the wedding overall and how everything was well organized and how good the food and staff were. We went to a friends wedding the week before ours at a different venue and he had about the same amount of guests (200-225). His venue was huge in comparison to the olde mill inn and we got worried that ours might be too tight/cramped but after the wedding, we were relieved as we recalled what Marien (our sales coordinator) had called their venue: intimate. The intimate nature of the venue helped get people up and into the dance area which is what we wanted. With the bigger wedding venue I noticed that people tend to roam around or get lost or confused as to what they should be doing. We just got our wedding pictures and are very pleased with how there were just great backgrounds and very picturesque scenery which created great photos and memories. Marien was our sales coordinator and John was our Maitre D. Both were always responsive and accommodating. We had the ceremony, reception and rehearsal lunch at the Grain house. On our wedding day, it happened to be the coldest day of the year so far (20-30's) but we were set on having the ceremony outside. The staff gave out hot cider to everyone as they took their seats for the short ceremony. Part of the package, we got one night stay in their suite and as a nice touch and surprise gift, they gave us a free night in the future to use as well. We'll definitely be going here for years to come and we definitely recommend them.

My husband and I are thrilled with the Olde Mill Inn! The venue is beautiful and the staff are so professional and pleasant to work with. Lindsay was so helpful with booking our big day. And our maitre d' Amanda was absolutely outstanding. She made our entire event run smoothly and did a fabulous job with setting up our favors, memorial table, and centerpieces exactly the way we pictured. She was patient with all our questions and did everything to ease our planning and set up. We would recommend the Olde Mill Inn to anyone looking for wedding venue. And all the vendors they suggested were equally wonderful.

We cannot thank you enough for all your work in overseeing our big day. We can honestly say the wedding went off perfectly, and we owe that to you and your staff. The day was everything we envisioned and more. Hope you are well and wanted to let you know that The Olde Mill Inn will always have a special place in our hearts!
—March, 2016: (Letter to John Lietz) from Courtney & Marc)
Our wedding was on 11/6/15. From the beginning I fell in love with the Grain House at the omi. It was the first place I looked and Marien made me want to book it right then and there. I didn't want to be hasty so I ran to 2 other places that day but ended up right back to book that same day. We were having a smaller wedding 80 people and the Grain House had the warm rustic feel we were going for. Marien was wonderful all the months leading up to our wedding. We were then assigned Amanda as our Maître D. I'll admit I was sad not to have Marien but could not have been more thankful to end up with Amanda. She was the perfect person to work with. I ended up doing a lot of decorations myself and on the night before the wedding we showed up with 3 carloads of things to decorate our wedding with. I explained everything I had and where I wanted it. I'm pretty type A but really felt like she knew what I was looking for. On the day of the wedding everything was absolutely perfect. It was like Amanda knew exactly what I've envisioned my entire life. I can't thank her enough for her hard work and dedication. I didn't have to stress about anything. She helped the whole day run smoothly, brought us drinks as soon as they were low and took care of everything at the end of the night. She even delivered some of our leftover desserts to the room to snack on later that night! She had everything ready for us to pick up the next morning. She was wonderful and made our day the best it could be. The suite we had booked was perfect to get ready in. All of the girls fit for hair and makeup ( about 11 of us) and it was perfect to have everyone back there at the end of the night. Our ceremony was on the patio outside the Grain house. It was beautiful. The food was delicious! Everyone raved about it especially the bite sized French onion soups! I am so thankful I chose the Grain House as our venue. It was the perfect place to hold the intimate rustic wedding I had always wanted.

We are so happy that we chose to have our wedding at the Olde Mill Inn. The service throughout the weekend was incredible for us and our guests. Absolutely zero complaints about anything. We had the rehearsal dinner on site at the Grain House, an amazing cocktail hour, delicious salads and entrees, everything was absolutely perfect and went according to plan. Marien our maitre 'd was amazing to work with. In the weeks and months leading up to our wedding she communicated often and clearly, always making sure that we were on the same page. During the event she was everywhere. Anything that needed to be done or taken care of was handled in a timely and professional manner because Marien was there to handle it. We've seen friends and family stress out over weddings, leading up to them and on the day, but we had zero stress. Wedding planning was a breeze and the actual day/weekend went off without the slightest issue. Marien and the Olde Mill Inn made our dream wedding come true!

Words can’t express how thankful I am for the Olde Mill Inn staff for giving us the best wedding we could’ve asked for! My husband & I are beyond pleased! We got married on 4/16/16 and loved the food, beautiful stonework for pictures, friendly staff, & the convenience of having the hotel rooms right upstairs! Lindsey Smillie helped us with every single question I had. She was so quick to respond to my emails/calls & was so accommodating every step of the way! At our food tasting, we met our Maitre’d, John Leitz. This man is AMAZING! He did everything to make sure we had a perfect day! From showing us the ballroom before our guests came in, to bringing us some food while we were taking pics during cocktail hour, to making sure we were having the best day, John made it all happen! We had our ceremony in my church, but when we arrived at Olde Mill Inn, I was happy to see my guests being taken care of & having a blast while the wedding party & I got settled & took our pictures. It was a beautiful day so they were able to have the cocktail hour spread out into the courtyard. Our reception ran so smoothly & everyone had a really great time! My husband & I got to enjoy every part of our wedding. I’m so happy I got a chance to eat! The short ribs were amazing! Not only did John make sure my husband and I were having a great time, he checked in with our parents, too! Before we cut the cake, he made sure the moms were right in the front with their cameras so they didn’t miss the special moment! He also occasionally checked in with my dad to make sure he was happy, too. That meant so much to me. We had an after party & John continued to make sure we were all taken care of hours after our reception! We had a lot of overnight guests so we arranged to have a private brunch the next morning. It was delicious and a nice touch. People are still talking about how nice our wedding was! A HUGE thank you to the Olde Mill Inn staff for an absolutely perfect wedding weekend!

We had our wedding at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ on 8/20/2016 and it was beautiful. We had 225 guests and this venue exceeded any and every expectation you could possibly have for a wedding venue. The staff, and especially our maitre d Marien, was unbelievably professional, detail-oriented, and accommodating from first glances as an overwhelmed engaged couple to final goodbyes as husband and wife. The Olde Mill Inn offers an impressively wide arrange of food options for the bride and groom to select to have served on the day of the wedding and this includes hors d'oeuvres, food stations, entrees, and even desserts. The quality of the food was incredible and our guests raved about their dining experiences during the wedding and days after. The Olde Mill Inn staff especially prides themselves on giving the bride and groom the notion that the day of the wedding is a worry-free experience where every detail you can think of has already been taken care of. I highly recommend the Olde Mill Inn and their staff as they gave my husband, myself, our families, and all of our guests an unforgettable wedding experience.

WeddingWire.com, posted 8/6/2016) The Olde Mill Inn was the first venue my new husband and I looked at and we knew right away that this was where we wanted to have our wedding. It's a beautiful place with a lot of character and charm. We definitely appreciate the fact that it isn't a cookie cutter "wedding factory" type venue. What makes the Olde Mill exceptional, though, is the staff. We had a lot going on this past year - on top of planning a wedding! And, from our very first visit at the Olde Mill, it was obvious that these people know what they're doing and that they would make sure that everything would run smoothly, and so we wouldn't have to worry. This assessment turned out to be very accurate. The whole process leading up to the wedding was very easy, smooth, and organized. I always felt like I was in excellent hands. Everyone I worked with at the Olde Mill couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. When the wedding day arrived, I felt like they had everything covered and organized, and I could relax. The place was beautiful and the food was delicious. And, I haven't even gotten yet to one of the biggest benefits to holding your wedding here: You can have your ceremony, reception, and the hotel all at the same place!! I can't stress enough how much easier this will make things for you. Also, the hotel rooms are VERY nice. I would absolutely recommend having your wedding at the Olde Mill Inn and I'm so glad that my husband and I did!
—August, 2016: (Posted on WeddingWire.com)
I don't know if I can say enough about this amazing venue and their incredible staff! We had out of state family attending, as well as we were planning from out of state and I didn't have any worry at all and for good reason because everything turned out completely perfect! We had small wedding on a Saturday in NJ, a lot of vendors wouldn't even give us a chance with a 45 person guest list! The Olde Mill Inn was perfect! The hotel on site was a huge plus, the cottage look of the Grain House was the perfect setting for our Fall Snow White themed wedding. We had an amazing time, it was beautiful, the food was delicious, and Amanda ( our Maitre D') was basically my wedding planner! She took care of every single detail and it ran so smoothly! It was a total dream day!!! Our guests are still raving about the amazing time they had at our wedding! We really couldn't be happier!!

We had our wedding at the Olde Mill Inn December 23rd. During all the planning, Lindsey Stewart was super helpful. We got the winter special which was a great deal with so much amazing food. On the day of John Lietz made sure that everything ran perfectly. All the Christmas decorations were beautiful. The whole place is just gorgeous. The honeymoon suite is amazing. Our wedding was absolutely perfect...like a dream. We are so glad we chose the Olde Mill Inn!

Where do you even begin reviewing the place that makes all your visions and dreams come true? I will start with their warm and welcoming customer service staff who will literally do anything you ask and get you anything you need. Every person, whether at the front desk or working the tables at our reception, even to the cleaning crew, every person is professional and friendly and helpful. Their grounds are impeccable, their rooms are rustic-modern and immaculately clean (and incredibly reasonable!). Our guests RAVED about our food and said everything they had which is a lot!) was delicious. Our maitre d, John, was AMAZING and made everything exactly how I wanted it, all with a smile and usually a huge hug. If you are looking for a truly wonderful wedding experience, The Olde Mill Inn is your place.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We were looking for a place that was cozy and a bit rustic but, would fit about 75 people for the reception. The Grain House was perfect, with the Inn to accommodate our out of town guests. Amanda was excellent to work with, being open to our crazy ideas and always responsive to our questions. We had a specific idea of our décor and had lots of fun working with her to create our vision. The day of our wedding, every detail was attended to and the set up was beyond my expectations! The place is amazing and the food is outstanding. Our guests all commented on it! I would highly recommend it. I only hope I can attend someone else's wedding and enjoy it as a guest too!

The Olde Mill Inn is the perfect place to get married. We had everything at one location: ceremony, reception, after-reception drinks at the bar, rooms for us and our guests, and a family brunch. The space is beautiful but what we really loved was how great the food is! They have so many options that are not just the run-of-the-mill wedding food. They were flexible and allowed us to customize our menu. John was our maître-d and he was amazing. He really helped make our day perfect from our planning meetings to our check-out. We definitely recommend working with the Olde Mill Inn to plan your wedding reception.

Had our wedding at this beautiful place last night! Service, food, atmosphere--everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you to Jon L., the entire staff (and especially our wonderful server, Gloria!), for an unforgettable affair. If I could rate it higher than five stars, I would. Thank you again for your professionalism and topnotch hospitality.

Beautiful Inn with plenty of charm and character. Food was top shelf, decor tasteful & very friendly staff. Wedding was simple yet elegant, cocktail hour was very impressive. Reception was tastefully done, the servers very attentive. The room was nicely decorated, comfy, especially the king size bed. Keurig coffee maker in the room was a nice surprise.

Planning a wedding from seven hours away isn't always easy, but the staff at the Olde Mill Inn did everything they could to accommodate us to make the process as simple as possible. The sales staff, our Maitre D (John), and the front desk were always just an email or phone callaway. We couldn't make one of the regularly scheduled mid-week tastings, so we were accommodated with a private tasting on a Saturday. Plus, you can't beat a venue with a special offer just for hometown heroes--police officers, firefighters, nurses, military, etc. Everything about our wedding day at the Olde Mill Inn was perfect. The Maitre D, John, stopped by the bridal lounge in the morning to say hello and bring the bridal party mimosas. He remembered every detail throughout the day, even small things I wouldn't have thought of! For instance, upon seeing how beautiful the ballroom looked, I exclaimed that I wanted one of each centerpiece to bring home with me, and lo and behold, when my husband and I returned to our room that night, there was one of each for us, along with all our other items! I don't even know how he managed to do it all! John coordinated with our DJ throughout the night so I didn't have to worry about anything. Our guests raved about the venue, the service and our Maitre D. Several commented that they had never seen a Maitre D so involved in a wedding. The whole night flew by--the only thing I wish is that I could do it all over again!

My husband and I got married at the Olde Mill Inn a little bit over 1 month ago. I didn't want to wait too long to write this review because we had such an amazing experience and I want to recommend this venue to everyone! From the second we reached out to the Olde Mill, about 2 years ago, we knew this was the best place for us. We had looked at a million other venues but we were never met with the warmth and responsiveness that we were met with by the team at the Olde Mill. Marien gave us our tour, she was so bubbly, fun and informative! I had so many questions after we left and she was so quick to get back to me. She was easy to talk to and so pleasant. She worked with us on what we wanted and our date and she made everything work! We had some venues that would not budge on certain things and we had the exact opposite experience with Marien. Leading up to the wedding Marien and the team were just as pleasant and easy to get in touch with. In finalizing things for the wedding they were so prepared and supportive. They completely put me at ease! I had total faith and trust that they would make our day amazing and of course, they did. Everything was magical and perfect! They put so much attention to detail into making everything just as we wanted. The food was unbelievable and the staff were amazing and professional. Cocktail hour was fabulous and we really got to enjoy the beautiful courtyard. Every person at our wedding had an amazing time and we have continued to receive so many compliments. We also loved that the hotel rooms are attached right to the reception area. This made it easy for our elderly family members and our family members with young children. We went to the Grain House for a few drinks after the reception and that was so much fun as well! You could not pick a better venue for your wedding! Booking the Olde Mill was the best decision we made and we could not be happier. Thank you Marien & the amazing Olde Mill Inn Team! We love you and we cannot wait to visit again.

Where to start! We could not be more thankful for Amanda helping us with the beginning of our wedding planning and John fully delivering us the most special and memorable experience. Amanda and John were extremely punctual and had excellent communication with us. On our day, I got ready in the Sawyer Room, as my now Husband was in the Bernards Suite ( which I highly recommend taking advantage of) and John made sure we had enough lunch and champagne, and if I need anything at all he was on top of it! After our ceremony in the courtyard, we had our pictures while the guests attended the Cocktail hour and John was bringing the food and our drinks to us during it all so we didn't miss out on the appetizers! Our guests continued to compliment the venue and how organized everything was and the food was delicious!! We also had an awesome Ice sculpture displayed in the Cocktail hour with our names on it. Our extra decorations were set up exactly as we visioned. At the end of the night, John brought everything we needed to our suite so we never had to lift a finger. We are thrilled and so pleased that we chose the Olde Mill for our courtyard ceremony and reception. It was THE BEST DAY ever and we cannot be more thankful!

I don't even know where to start with how absolutely PHENOMENAL everything about this venue is! My husband and I found a great review of this place and saw the pictures, and immediately scheduled an appointment to check it out in person. If you know anything about wedding planning, you know that most venues take FOREVER to even respond to you, and rarely want to give any information unless you are on site, this was not the case at all when we messaged them. We heard back within hours, and they gave us all the information we asked before we got there. We met up with Amanda (who by the way is the BEST!!) she was so helpful with our first tour. We loved it so much we booked on the spot. This venue is the only location we even visited, and we have 0 regrets! We had our wedding there last week, and every little thing was perfect!! Amanda was amazing, she was there every step of the way helping us with my millions of emails with every little crazy bride question. The day of she helped set up, was there to make sure we ate, and enjoyed every second of our day! All of our friends and families will not stop talking about how amazing all of the food was and how much food there was. If you are looking for a sweet, romantic, fun spot for your wedding (( with great pricing I should add)) I absolutely would recommend the Olde Mill Inn.

We had our wedding at the Grain House and it was everything we could hope for and more. Kate Roe and the team at the Olde Mill Inn and Grain House were outstanding. I was a very anxious bride, and Kate Roe really made the whole process easy. The grounds are truly incredible and have so much character. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. Even better, the food was to die for. I keep fantasizing about the butternut squash risotto! I can't say enough how professional and wonderful the team is at the Grain House and Olde Mill Inn. Thank you!

From the first tour with Amanda to the final good bye with our Matre D' John- the service was top notch. We had a small wedding but needed a location that offered onsite hotel. I had been in a wedding here but was surprised when we were taken to the Grain House restaurant to see their intimate wedding option. It was a wonderfully warm room with the historical and unique feel we were looking for. We were a 12/31 wedding, so the holiday decor added to the space and meant we needed to spend very little of our focus on decor. The prices- oh the prices- for a 12/31 request- where everyone else was telling me it would be so much more (out of budget) to get staff to come on that date... the Olde Mill was like "oh, we do it every year, nbd, this is our ridiculously affordable price". I was so excited, I couldn't sleep. I booked the next day. Through the year they sent lovely reminders and scheduled in advance for tastings. Gave us all we needed to prepare and John made you feel like family right away, he was so easy to communicate with. I walked in day of the wedding and the hotel staff started my day on the best foot! John was there to guide us through the rest of the seamlessly and we had a wonderful experience. The wait staff were so kind and thought ahead, they pick up on the little stuff and make that extra effort without anyone noticing. Just book, it's worth it. The customer service will knock your socks off!

The Grain House @ the OMI was the perfect place for our wedding. a) Service: The service at OMI is UNBELIEVABLE! We first met with our Sales Rep, Lindsay Stewart. She is an angel. She answered every single e-mail and every single question I asked her in a timely manner. She was so incredibly helpful when it came to booking the venue, and in the months after until we were assigned our Maitre D', John. He was outstanding as well! He made sure that every. single. detail. that we wanted at that wedding went perfectly. He put all the decor around (and we brought a lot) in the right place and in the right way. All day he was around to make sure that myself, my husband, bridal party, and family were fed and taken care of. Multiple guests commented on how superb the service was. b) Food: This was very important to us, as my husband is very passionate about cooking and food. He did not want bland typical wedding food. That is not what you are going to get here! If you have any concerns, go to the Grain House Restaurant before you book your wedding and eat anything on the menu. Everything is cooked to perfection. The food was outstanding and we got a ton of compliments on that as well. We did the mashtini bar and ice cream cookie sandwich station for dessert, both were huge hits! c) Ambiance/decor: The grounds at OMI are gorgeous! There is colonial decor. It is charming, quaint, classy, and simply elegant. We loved the Grain House in particular. They have a beautiful gazebo outside. Because it rained on our day, we actually got married underneath a tented patio, which is also gorgeous. d) Convenience: There is something to be said about having everything all in one place. We did the rehearsal dinner in the Grain Room, the wedding in the Hunt Room, had our guests sleep over in the Inn, and did a breakfast the next morning in the Inn. We did not have to deal with shuttles. So much less planning involved, and everything is top notch!

We had our wedding at The Grain House Restaurant at The Olde Mill Inn, and we could not have asked for a better venue! It's hard to find the perfect venue, especially in New Jersey, but we did it with The Grain House. From the stunning and picturesque decor and grounds, to the INCREDIBLE food, everything was perfect. The staff is top notch, cream of the crop when it comes to service, responsiveness, and cooperation. We worked closely with Kate Roe (our Maitre'd), who brought so much energy and organization, and truly made the day flow seamlessly, without any issues! Thank you Olde Mill Inn for everything!! It was a magical experience!

David Goldsmith was fantastic as was our wedding at The Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn. David was responsive and helpful from day 1 - the food tasting to the planning of the menu, details for the ceremony to the execution of a fabulous-flaw free day. His attention to detail, responsive follow up and expertise made our day truly the best of our lives with no worries or hassles of any kind. I highly recommend The Grain House, and especially David Goldsmith as your Maitre D'.

We decided to have our wedding at the olde mill inn after attending a winter wedding where we had the best time. We immediately felt a connection to the space and the people. It has a beautiful, charming style of furniture and homey feel that we fell in love with.
Our wedding took place after Thanksgiving in November so they already decorated with Christmas decorations all over which made it feel really special and magical. One highlight of olde mill inn is the staff. From Kate who gave us the initial tour, to Michael the hotel manager, to our maitre’d David, everyone here went above and beyond to provide VIP service. Kate was super willing to work with us to pick the best package for what we wanted. We found olde mill inn much more accommodating than other venues we visited, and the amount of food you get is incredible and top-notch quality. David made sure everything we asked was done and made the whole process feel easy. His competence, warmth, organization and constant communication meant that we didn’t have to do anything other than sit back and enjoy our day. Weddings can be incredibly stressful, but with David at the helm, it was smooth sailing for us. Michael made sure our guests were taken care of and rooms accounted for. It was nice to be able to accommodate everyone so no one had to leave or get a bus after a night of drinking. To the rest of the staff that night, we thank you for the overall experience. The food choices and drinks were excellent and the chef even made a special peppercorn sauce for us for our filets! The mashed potato bar was such a hit, and the Belgian waffle station and bacon egg and cheese sandwiches to go were the perfect touch at the end of the night. To those who are traveling, this is a calm and relaxing place to stay at, which includes breakfast. To those who are looking to get married, work with David and I can guarantee you’ll have the best wedding ever. We got married outside and they provided hot apple cider to guests. Every guest left the wedding remarking that the beautiful setting reminded them of a hallmark or fairy tale wedding and that the food was the best they’d ever had at a wedding. 10/10 would recommend having your wedding here, it was the best day of our lives.

Great place for a big wedding!  The Olde Mill Inn was phenomenal. The ballroom and courtyard were beautiful. The food was all fantastic, and there was something for everyone. All of the staff, including our maitre d' Gabriel, were a pleasure to work with. My wife and I would highly recommend to everyone!

Beautiful Fall Wedding! We could not have picked a better venue for our perfect Fall wedding. We saw 12 venues, and Olde Mill Inn was the 12th, and we booked it the second we saw it! We met with Lindsay first, and she was awesome. Any questions we had, she answered in a timely manner, and she made us feel comfortable. As the bride, I was very stressed out, but OMI made everything so easy for me while planning our special day. A couple of months before the wedding, we were notified that Gabriel would be our maitre d. Just like Lindsey, Gabriel was amazing. We would email him, call him, and even text him if we had any last minute questions or requests, and he would always get back to us right away with an answer. Everything went so smoothly the day of the wedding due to Gabriel and his team! Our guests are still talking about our wedding, how amazing the food was, and how everything was simply perfect. None of this would have been possible if it weren't for Lindsey, Gabriel, and everyone at OMI. Would 100% recommend to any future bride and grooms! Thank you for giving us the wedding we always dreamed of!

Book this venue!  I am beyond happy with having our reception at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn. The style of the building is so cute and vintage exactly what I love. We had our reception in the Hunt Room with about 89 people. The size of the room was perfect for the amount of guests we had. The staff was amazing especially our Matrie'D. They made everything go so smoothly and perfect. There was not one thing I would change about our day. Also the food was amazing everyone enjoyed it. I think the most convenient part about having our reception here is that our guests got to stay at the olde mill inn which was fantastic, nobody had to worry about shuttles or anything. I would recommend this place to anybody you will not regret it.

Gabriel is the best! The night was perfect. Perfect! Not one thing went wrong...nothing! Gabriel was amazing and so attentive to not just us but to our families as well. The staff at our wedding was the best. Drinks in hand at all times before you realized you needed one! The food was amazing as well as the desserts! I really can’t thank them all enough for making our day truly so magical and special and of course all about us! The hotel is so accommodating, from the breakfast to the bridal rooms! You will not be disappointed 💕

Wow where do I begin? Lindsay Stewart was our sales person. Any questions we had she was quick to answer and was willing to work with us. The Olde Mill Inn is absolutely beautiful inside and outside. Our matre'd John Lietz was fantastic. Every single review we read about him is true-HE IS THAT GOOD. I wish I could give this venue 10 stars because honestly 5 is not enough. Our guests kept raving about the venue, cocktail hour, dinner, the service. So many people asked how we found such a beautiful venue. The service was excellent. Many guests said they didn't even have to get up to go to the bar, drinks were being brought to them. Cocktail hour was amazing:mini chicken and waffles, grilled cheese/tomato soup shooter, beef wellington. My girls and I got ready in the suite, wow was it beautiful and huge! The hotel staff is fantastic, the courtyard is amazing day or night. I would absolutely recommend Olde Mill Inn to everyone and anyone I know. It was better then our wildest dreams. We are SO sad it is over, but our hope is that we get to be a guest at a wedding at Olde Mill Inn

We got married at the Grain House a few weeks ago and could not have been happier with the experience. We planned the wedding over less than 6 months from out of state, and Lindsay and Gabriel could not have been more helpful. I keep hearing how beautiful the venue is and how delicious the food was. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to celebrate.

Best day ever!  Our wedding was the absolute perfect day. The olde mill inn is the best place you could ever imagine. The food was amazing, everyone keeps telling us that it was one of the best weddings they have ever been too. John was our maitre d and he was the best. He kept everything running smoothly the whole time. Our rehearsal dinner was at the restaurant grain house and it was just as amazing. We can not thank Olde Mill Inn enough for everything we imagined and more.

Amazing experience at this venue

Choosing the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn for our wedding ceremony and reception was the best decision we made. We wanted an all inclusive wedding, in a cozy location with lots of good food and drinks. We got exactly that and more. Our maître d' John Lietz was so great to work with. He answered every question we had, helped us coordinate with vendors, helped us navigate the menu and other selections. One of the biggest perks was that John and his staff set up all decorations (minus live florals) so we barely had to lift a finger. All we had to do was drop off boxes with any favors, decorations, seating chart, etc, and they took care of the rest. We didn't want to have friends or family do any work during our wedding day, we just wanted them to enjoy it. That's what a stress-free wedding is all about. After the reception was over our decorations were packed up and were waiting in our suite along with the top tier of our cake, and a bottle of champagne and strawberries on our bed. And yes, a huge suite on the wedding night is included too.

Our guests also raved about how much amazing food there was. The cocktail hour food was delicious. The open bar is fully stocked. John also worked with us on the timing of the reception so out guests can dance between the appetizer and the dinner entree and the cake cutting. Our cake was also included in our price and we got to pick from two different bakeries. The service all throughout the reception was impeccable. Guests were tended to promptly and some of them told us how amazing the service is. John was with us all day and made sure we never needed anything. At cocktail hour, he brought us plates of hors d'oeuvres to make sure we ate. They took care of us so well it truly make us feel very special on our day. We really can't rave enough about what a wonderful experience we had having our wedding here. Our guests loved it, we loved it, and we can't recommend it enough

Charm and Elegance at the Olde Mill Inn
For our anniversary, we chose the Olde Mill Inn and we were so glad we did. Dinner at the Grain House began with being greeted by the friendly hostess The warmth of the staff carried through to the dining room where we were seated by a beautiful fireplace which created an instant feeling of coziness. The decor with its rich wood and gorgeous chandeliers added to the ambience of old charm and elegance that the Olde Mill Inn is known for. Our server, Josh, continued with the hospitality of the professional staff. He was very knowledgable about the cocktails and food menu which helped me to make decisions between all of the delicious offerings. From appetizers to dessert, the food and drinks were wonderful. The staff at the front desk, Norm and Darina, were amazing and welcoming. Check-in was handled easily and efficiently. The grand staircase leads to your room which is updated while still maintaining that charming feeling that permeates throughout the Inn. My favorite part of the room was the view of the garden/patio area that is strung with lights for a remarkable view at night. Our stay was comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities needed including breakfast! If you’re visiting NJ, the Olde Mill Inn is a hidden gem of a historic inn and restaurant which exudes old charm and comfort with a warm and friendly welcome. The only downside is having to leave.

I have the pleasure of working at the Old Mill Inn as a balloon decor vendor and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the staff, ambience, and service. Everyone from the front desk to the banquet staff is helpful and kind. I look forward to working at the Olde Mill Inn and Grain House often, knowing that the events my clients are hosting there are in the utmost care of their top notch staff.

We had the most magical wedding in the Ballroom. The courtyard was beautiful for our ceremony, the food throughout was incredibly delicious, and the service was friendly, professional, and caring. The staff always made sure our needs were taken care of and answered any questions we had through the process. From the moment we met our Maitre'd David, we knew we were in the best of hands. He was friendly, honest, and helpful. Leading up to our wedding he was always available when we had questions, and by the time our wedding day came we had full confidence that it would be a perfect day. David checked on us and kept our schedule timely, making sure we got to enjoy every moment of our special day. We received many comments from our guests about how lovely the hotel staff was too! Overall, the Olde Mill Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding.

Highly recommend the Olde Mill Inn as a site for an event. We hosted a celebration of life luncheon there in the Hunt Room (attached to the Grain House restaurant). Space was lovely, adjacent to a large covered patio. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating, both in terms of advance planning and on the day of the event. The hotel was comfortable, with impressive breakfast spreads, and a reasonable group price.

The Olde Mill Inn is a fantastic venue! Its charming historic architecture and beautifully landscaped grounds offer a picturesque backdrop for capturing stunning footage. The elegant ballroom, cozy library, and serene garden areas provide a variety of enchanting settings for every part of the celebration. The natural light streaming through the windows and the warm, inviting ambiance make every shot feel intimate and magical. The staff’s attentiveness and professionalism ensure a smooth and enjoyable filming experience. The Olde Mill Inn perfectly combines timeless charm with modern amenities.

We got married here in the summer of 2022 and I cannot say enough nice things about the Olde Mill Inn. All the staff (from the wait staff, to the sales team, reception desk, and maitre'd) were so accommodating and responsive during the whole wedding planning process from when we first inquired to our first anniversary that we celebrated when we returned to the Inn. We chose this location because it was so close to NY and it is on the commuter line so it is easy to get to for guests flying in or taking the train. It is nice that there is a courtyard-- our guests loved having their coffee on their balcony during non-wedding times. The local bar/restaurant is a nice touch that our guests enjoyed. The Olde Mill Inn was so accommodating with dietary restrictions for the wedding menu as well. Our guests still RAVE about the food!

The Olde Mill Inn was the PERFECT wedding venue for us! It is a cozy space and has everything you need for a seamless wedding. We worked closely with Lindsay, who gave us the first tour of the entire venue and helped us book our contract. David took the time to go over every single detail of our wedding day and made sure that the day ran smoothly and that all of our ideas came to life. The Old Mill Inn is a charming and beautifully decorated hotel. The staff is professional and friendly and rooms very comfortable. We especially like the extra sink outside the bathroom and large desk. The continental breakfast has many options and plenty of space to accommodate all guests.
