Our wedding was on 11/6/15. From the beginning I fell in love with the Grain House at the omi. It was the first place I looked and Marien made me want to book it right then and there. I didn’t want to be hasty so I ran to 2 other places that day but ended up right back to book that same day. We were having a smaller wedding 80 people and the Grain House had the warm rustic feel we were going for. Marien was wonderful all the months leading up to our wedding. We were then assigned Amanda as our Maître D. I’ll admit I was sad not to have Marien but could not have been more thankful to end up with Amanda. She was the perfect person to work with. I ended up doing a lot of decorations myself and on the night before the wedding we showed up with 3 carloads of things to decorate our wedding with. I explained everything I had and where I wanted it. I’m pretty type A but really felt like she knew what I was looking for. On the day of the wedding everything was absolutely perfect. It was like Amanda knew exactly what I’ve envisioned my entire life. I can’t thank her enough for her hard work and dedication. I didn’t have to stress about anything. She helped the whole day run smoothly, brought us drinks as soon as they were low and took care of everything at the end of the night. She even delivered some of our leftover desserts to the room to snack on later that night! She had everything ready for us to pick up the next morning. She was wonderful and made our day the best it could be. The suite we had booked was perfect to get ready in. All of the girls fit for hair and makeup ( about 11 of us) and it was perfect to have everyone back there at the end of the night. Our ceremony was on the patio outside the Grain house. It was beautiful. The food was delicious! Everyone raved about it especially the bite sized French onion soups! I am so thankful I chose the Grain House as our venue. It was the perfect place to hold the intimate rustic wedding I had always wanted.
