January, 2016: (Posted on WeddingWire.com by Ronald)
We had our wedding here back in Oct 2015. We couldn’t be happier on how everything turned out. We had a lot of complements from our friends and family on the wedding overall and how everything was well organized and how good the food and staff were. We went to a friends wedding the week before ours at a different venue and he had about the same amount of guests (200-225). His venue was huge in comparison to the olde mill inn and we got worried that ours might be too tight/cramped but after the wedding, we were relieved as we recalled what Marien (our sales coordinator) had called their venue: intimate. The intimate nature of the venue helped get people up and into the dance area which is what we wanted. With the bigger wedding venue I noticed that people tend to roam around or get lost or confused as to what they should be doing. We just got our wedding pictures and are very pleased with how there were just great backgrounds and very picturesque scenery which created great photos and memories. Marien was our sales coordinator and John was our Maitre D. Both were always responsive and accommodating. We had the ceremony, reception and rehearsal lunch at the Grain house. On our wedding day, it happened to be the coldest day of the year so far (20-30’s) but we were set on having the ceremony outside. The staff gave out hot cider to everyone as they took their seats for the short ceremony. Part of the package, we got one night stay in their suite and as a nice touch and surprise gift, they gave us a free night in the future to use as well. We’ll definitely be going here for years to come and we definitely recommend them.
